Maavahi - an exclusive and distinctive safari boat passionately dedicated to fulfil the fantasies of ocean lovers; a perfect holiday hideaway, that takes you away from the madding crowd - to make your dream come true.

Designed and built in Maldives by local engineers and master craftsmen, Maavahi made its first maiden voyage in 1998. Maavahi is a unique cruise boat that provides modern facilities and amenities required by the contemporary and adventurous explorer. Maavahi is 25.91m (85 feet) long and 8.23m (27 feet) wide. Maavahi is compact and comfortable. It has three decks and eight beautiful and well-furnished cabins; 7 twin and one double. The seven twin cabins are located on the first deck and the double cabin is located on the second deck. All cabins have air-conditioning, an attached toilet, limited wardrobe facilities and a DC wall fan. Maavahi is fitted with a 230 HP Yanmar Diesel Engine and can cruise at an average speed of 12 knots. It can carry 3600litres of fuel on board.

The well-lit and exceptionally beautiful and spacious dining room with its beautiful wooden ceiling is also located on the second deck. In the front, adjoining the main restaurant is an outdoor restaurant offering a unique opportunity to dine in the open and in full view of the beautiful surrounding. Facilities And Recreational Activities
Maavahi is powered by two Onan generators, with a combined generating capacity of 36 kW. On board, the power supply is 220/240 VAC 50 Hz and 24 VDC. In addition, all cabins have AC/DC power supply. Freshwater is available in all toilets, in the kitchen and in the bars. Freshwater is produced by the RO desalination plant installed on board. The plant has a production capacity of 4000 litres a day, sufficient to provide 250 litres of freshwater per person per day. Other facilities include an indoor and an out-door restaurant, a lounge bar, a sun deck, music and TV/ video facilities and a fully equipped diving base, including an accompanying diving dhoani.

A variety of recreational activities are available. These include Diving, snorkelling, boating, fishing, movies and music.
